1995
Purchase of McPaper&Co. branches
Andreas Kümin buys three subsidiaries called McPaper&Co. from the then German Herlitz Group AG.
1999
Name change to
Mc PaperLand
The previously used logo and name are changed:
McPaper&Co. becomes McPaperLand
2002
Foundation of EDA AG
The company EDA AG complements our service portfolio with assembly work and interior fittings for indoor playgrounds and retail spaces. The company also carries out various transportation orders and removals.
2010
Takeover of
BIDO AG, Altdorf
Takeover of the Uri-based stationery and bookshop BIDO AG, expanding our network of stationery outlets.
2011
Takeover of
PENTA VERTRIEBS AG
With PENTA VERTRIEBS AG, we supply retailers throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein with gift and stationery items of all kinds.
2016
Merger of ICC and PENTA VERTRIEBS AG
ICC (Images, Cadeaux et Cartes) was founded in 1987 as a sole proprietorship and converted into a public limited company in 1992. The then company owner Markus Bucher also founded a sister company in 1998, which was given the company name art & FUN GmbH. Due to a similar product portfolio, Andreas Kümin decided to buy these two companies in 2016 and merge them with his existing PENTA VERTRIEBS AG.
2016
Foundation of Kümin Group AG
Due to the strong growth, Kümin Group AG was founded in 2016. This made it possible to centralize the Finance, IT, Human Resources and Marketing departments.
